Teatro di Affetto in conjunction with Vegetarian Alcoholic Press is hosting a funeral for the internet!

Close 2017 by celebrating the release of a special post-internet dystopia-themed chapbook while raising funds for the ongoing fight for Net Neutrality.

THEME: A zany, campy, playfully grim funeral, with dancing, beverages, music, and a wacky celebration of meme culture and bound books. Wear your most theatrical funeral attire, fancy hats, or literary-inspired outfit. 

DOOR COVER INCLUDES A COPY OF THE CHAPBOOK: $10-$20 sliding scale

FUNDRAISER: Funds raised will be donated to the Electronic Frontier Foundation and J20 arrest support.

EULOGY CONTEST: Write your own absurd and over-the-top eulogy for Net Neutrality. You may perform it yourself, or have it performed. Winner will receive an exciting gift from VA Press.

SHOWCASE: Multiple Milwaukee presses and independently published writers all under one roof.
